Originally built in Bergen in 1964 for the Norwegian Government, this remarkable ship served various roles before being transformed into an exclusive passenger vessel.
The ship features ample deck space on the main deck, allowing you to immerse yourself in the Arctic surroundings. For panoramic vistas of the magical Svalbard scenery, make your way to the top of the bridge, where you can enjoy breathtaking views. Enhance your relaxation and indulge in the wood-fired hot tub located on the deck, providing a serene oasis amidst the Arctic wilderness.
The M/S Sjøveien offers eight well-appointed outside cabins, each boasting private facilities for your utmost convenience. The lower deck accommodates four twin cabins with portholes, while the main deck presents two larger twin cabins and one spacious superior cabin with windows. An additional superior cabin awaits on the upper deck, ensuring a comfortable and luxurious stay throughout your Arctic expedition. The main deck is where the dining area is located, where you will be treated to delicious meals for breakfast, lunch, and dinner.
