The Falkland Photo Tour
This tour is aimed at those looking for the next level in Wildlife, Birdlife and Landscape photography. The Falkland Islands has it all and will leave you absolutely dumbstruck. Being uninhabited for centuries the wildlife in general are not afraid of photographers walking amongst them. This means we can approach subjects like Penguins, Albatrosses and Elephant Seals to name but a few, to within just a few meters and photograph these animals without placing any stress on the animal or environment. It also means we can work with different angles and photographic approaches giving free reign to our creative photographic art. The Falkland Photo Tour:
Consisting of 778 Islands one can see that the island group is rather large. At Tusk Photo we have used our local knowledge of the area putting a tour together to capture the best possible diversity and range of images and subjects possible. On this tour we visit six different areas on five different islands making sure we cover the magnificent wildlife and birdlife on a variety of different locations and settings.
From magnificent un-spoilt beaches with thousands of penguins, rocky cliffs covered in Black-Browed Albatross nests to tidal pools that are surrounded with giant Elephant seals and Sea Lions.
We use every opportunity and situation to work on a variety of photographic disciplines such as wide-angle landscapes and wildlife to long lens telephoto work. Expect great opportunity to use flash, macro and other creative photographic disciplines. We will share all our best kept secretes on how to get the best results. This tour is simply an unbelievable photographic journey into true natural beauty.
