This morning we were woken to the sounds of Hyaenas calling very close to the boat, one of the greatest sounds out in the bush. We did look but unfortunately found no sign of them when we left on our morning cruise.
Photography this morning was quite difficult as the wind was blowing quite hard, but the wind aside we still managed some great shots of fish eagles, little bee eaters and a number of the herons.
This afternoon the wind had calmed down and the light was great when we headed off. Although the birding was a little quiet we still managed some great malakite shots and the game viewing was very nice, with a number of great elephant sightings in stunning light, as well as hippo and some great giraffe shots.
Well this afternoon was the last activity for the first group as they all leave early tomorrow morning, but all had a great safari and are leaving with some great images and memories.
